Vitamin A should always be introduced gradually. If you are new to retinal, you will need to start at a lower strength and build up over time.
 
Emma’s Tip 
Please don’t jump straight into a stronger retinal because you want faster results. Your skin needs time to build tolerance, and irritation can set you back.
 
Use a small amount on dry skin, follow with a nourishing moisturiser and avoid layering it with lots of other strong active ingredients unless your routine has been carefully planned.
Consistency, patience and a healthy skin barrier will always give you a better long-term approach. And remember — SPF every morning is essential.
